Campus Resources
Help is all around you.
Wake Forest is committed to fostering a campus environment that promotes well-being through a variety of resources. Many resources are available for students, faculty, and staff to seek additional information and report concerns if they need help for themselves or others.
Care Case Management
Our CARE Case Managers are trained professionals who respond to CARE Referrals. They provide caring outreach and a listening ear, inviting community members to share their stories and current circumstances. In addition to providing emotional support, they help assess students’ needs and provide interventions and resources that might be helpful to alleviate their current stressors. This includes check-in meetings, referrals to supporting offices across campus, helping navigate the University’s systems, and much more. Case managers tailor their responses to individual students’ needs.
Additional Supporting Resources
The University Counseling Center (UCC) is the primary resource for Reynolda campus students seeking direct mental health support. We offer individual and group therapy options, as well as consultation to members of the University community.
Crisis Assistance
For urgent mental health needs, crisis assistance is available anytime, from anywhere, by calling us at 336.758.5273.
The Office of Wellbeing strives to create and sustain a community where students, staff, and faculty know their right to comprehensive wellbeing.
The Wake Forest University Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) misuse prevention, education, and intervention program. The mission of the WFU AOD program is to gain a greater understanding of the dynamics of alcohol and other drug misuse in our community, provide prevention and education programming, intervention and support services, and resources to individuals and groups, and empower students to make healthy choices.
To get started with support around alcohol or other drug use or misuse, you can set up an appointment to meet 1-1 with a professional staff member.
Wellbeing Coaching is an evidence-based practice designed to help you reach your personal health and wellbeing goals.
Wellbeing coaching is structured around the changes that you want to make in your life when you are ready to make them – you are empowered through this process to identify the life you want to be living and are not told by a coach what your life “should” look like.
If you know what you want to work on or you’re just looking for support and collaboration in figuring out what and how to make a change in your life, you can:
- Sign up for a drop-in appointment
- Enroll to work with a certified coach for a semester
The Safe Office provides confidential crisis response and ongoing support services to Reynolda Campus students for concerns related to interpersonal violence (including sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking).
